Abstract:
The Special Workshop History of Philosophy of Law aims to show how history, philosophy and law are constantly connected. Specifically, how some legal philosophical concepts have developed through history.
This will allow all the participants and assistants to recognize the main aspects in the study, analysis and research of the entire conceptual framework that involves social and political relations seen in the different societies and historical epochs. In this way, we could identify the historical aspects about the consolidation of theories of States, the creation and development of the concept of democracy, its application in State systems and the incidence of political systems in the conception of law and the philosophy of law.
Topics:
- History of legal schools.
- History of construction of classical works and debates of philosophy of law.
- Historical contextualization of schools and authors of philosophy of law.
Languages and deadlines:
The official languages of the workshop are English, Spanish and Italian. If you want to participate, please submit your abstract to botero39@gmail.com before March 1th, 2019. We will notify the decision before March 15st 2019. The submission deadline for the draft of accepted presentations is May 15th.

Times New Roman 12, 1.5 line spacing, maximum 500 words.
